I use three 3 regular length chains linked together for a Low Racer chain replacement. I use a chain measuring gauge and replace them at 1%.
These chains last around 10,000 miles for me. Last time I bought the silver / grey. This time I bought the plain grey. I'm hoping it will last the same 10.k miles with the only difference being a little less bling.

After having some problems with a chain from one of the big groupset manufacturers, I decided to try KMC. First install went fine and the chain seems to be wearing well. I'm switching to KMC for the rest of my bikes when it is time to replace chains.
