Our DLC Series chains with titanium-carbon-nitrade coating have an extremely hard surface and therefore reduced friction. The result: smooth running, optimum shifting behavior and, due to the extreme hardness of the pins, an above-average service life of the entire drive.

The SL signifies the special cut-outs in the links and pins which make it both lighter, and easier to clean as it is harder for dirt and mud to stick. KMC was the first chain manufacturer to develop special chains for e-bikes with mid-mounted motors. Our analysis of the power transmission on e-bikes with a mid-motor showed that the frequent shifting operations under load require significantly higher safety reserves that cannot be realized with classic chains. The eGlide chain is compatible with 11, 10, and 9-speed LinkGlide systems only. If you are not sure if you have a LinkGlide system check with your drivetrain manufacturer.
